With over 25 years of industry experience, Phil is the driving force behind Bluewater Glass and Balustrades. His career is built on a foundation of craftsmanship, innovation, and a relentless commitment to quality.
Born and raised in the Hunter Valley, Phil began his journey by completing an apprenticeship in Glass and Glazing. His passion for the trade led him to Western Australia, where he spent two years working on major government infrastructure projects. These formative years sharpened his technical expertise and broadened his understanding of large-scale glass solutions.
Eager to expand his knowledge, Phil returned to Newcastle, NSW, to join one of Australia’s largest glass production and manufacturing companies. There, he refined his skills in precision manufacturing and high-performance glazing systems, further establishing his reputation as a leader in the field.
Phil’s career reached a turning point when he partnered with a leading expert in steel fabrication. Together, they combined their talents to pioneer integrated glass and metal solutions—setting a new benchmark for craftsmanship and design in the industry. This collaboration inspired Phil to realise a long-held dream: launching his own business.
Today, as the Owner and Director of Bluewater Glass and Balustrades, Phil continues to lead with passion, precision, and purpose. Known for his attention to detail and deep industry knowledge, Phil is trusted by clients across the region for delivering exceptional quality and lasting results. His commitment to excellence and innovation ensures Bluewater stands out as a name synonymous with reliability and superior workmanship.
